Darlington 1 Lincoln City 1, 09/04/2007. The Darlington Arena, League Two. Block 37 and 38 celebrate the Lincoln equaliser. Photo by Paul Thompson. The Darlington Arena was a 25,000 capacity white elephant of a stadium. Darlington left Feethams for the Arena in 2003, usually playing in front of 2000 people. The cost of the arena caused the club to go into administration three times. Eventually, the club decided to leave the arena after nine years following the 2011–12 season. Darlington currently groundshare the Blackwell Meadows ground with the town's rugby club, and play in National League North.
